My Mamma is a Swede by birth, and my Pappa is an American with Swedish and Norwegian roots. Suffice it to say, we had a lot of Swedish food and traditions in our home growing up.
I have enjoyed bringing some of those same traditions and recipes into my own home. They are especially dear to my heart when the holidays come around.
I have gotten to visit Sweden several times over the years, and it is a beautiful country! If you ever get the chance to visit, I highly recommend it. Try the local cuisine, smell the flowers, take in the breathtaking views.
