“It’s a dangerous business, Frodo, going out of your door. You step into the Road, and if you don’t keep your feet, there is no knowing where you might get swept off to.”–J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring
Traveling is a wonderful thing! It helps you to see the world through different eyes, experience new foods, cultures, languages, and climates–to meet new and beautiful people.
Though I was born in the Midwest, I spent the majority of my childhood abroad. I am blessed to have been surrounded by people so different from me, yet also so similar. People are just people–beautifully and wonderfully made.
I love to travel, and I have a wonderful husband who likes these adventures almost as much as I do. I’m so excited for the endless possibilities out there waiting for us!
So, let the spirit of adventure fill you! Grab your passport, step outside your door, and open your arms to the beauty around you, both near and far. The world is full of wonderful things, just waiting for you to discover them. Bon Voyage!
“Climb every mountain, ford every stream, follow every rainbow until you find your dream.”–Mother Abbess, The Sound of Music
